This scientist will represent Global PK/PD and Pharmacometrics and provide scientific and technical leadership in the drug discovery, development and commercialization process. The Research Scientist position welcomes recent graduates with a PhD in the area of pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics.

Basic Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field
* 0-5 years experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or similar scientific discipline
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for developing PK/PD sections of program and product team plans
* Lead preparation of Phase I, II, and III study protocols
* Provide scientific interpretation of conventional and population PK/PD analyses and preparation of study reports
* Responsible for preparation of INDs, IBs, CTDs and other regulatory documents for development and registration of new drugs
Additional Skills/Preferences:
* Expertise in PK/PD modeling and simulation
* Knowledge and experience in PK/PD and its role in drug research and development
* Working knowledge of software such as NONMEM, R, MatLab, and WINNONLIN
* Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills
* Ability to work effectively with senior management
* Advanced understanding of human physiology and biochemsitry
