Senior/Principal Scientist Position for Pharmacometrics in PK, Modeling
& Simulation
Centocor R&D, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies,
is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Scientist, located in Chesterbrook,
PA. Centocor, Inc. develops innovative biomedicines. The world leader in
monoclonal antibody production and technology, Centocor has brought
critical biologic therapies to patients suffering from debilitating
immune disorders.
This Senior/Principal Scientist will be working closely with
pharmacokinetists and other members of clinical teams to bring
scientific excellence to drug development. The candidate will implement
modeling and simulation and research initiatives to support clinical
drug development, using population PK modeling, PK/PD modeling, disease
progression, and clinical trial simulation.
A doctoral degree (Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D.) is required in
pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, statistics or a
related discipline. Experience ranging 2-8 years in drug development is
desired. Working experience with NONMEM and knowledge with other PK-PD
modeling and simulation tools and programming language, e.g., S-PLUS/R
or Trial Simulator, is required. Experience related to biological drug
development would be a plus. Demonstrated motivation, attention to
details, teamwork ability, and communication skills are necessary. We
