You could use the page http://www.boomer.org/c/p3/c07/c0707.html to
generate the Laplace of the required equation and then use the
fingerprint method ( http://www.boomer.org/c/p3/c07/c0706.html) to get
the integrated equation for the amount; dividing by Vm to get the
equation for metabolite concentration. [For a one compartment model the
roots are -kel, -ka, and -kmu]
