Hi all:
I am delighted to announce the birth of Population Approach Group of India (
PAGIN ) today.
Its mission, and responsibilites will remain essentially the same as
Population Approach Group of Europe ( PAGE ) and Population Approach Group
of Australia and New Zealand ( PAGANZ ).
For ease of immediate operation PAGIN will function out of PSG Institute of
Medical Sciences and Research website. Its offices also will function from
out of PSG for starters, until we all form a critical mass and decide that
we can take wings on our own.
At this juncture, I should thank the following for their constant
encouragement:
- PSG Management - for the support to a nascent organization
- Bruce Green, Glynn Morrish, Carl Patrick - Academics from University
of Queensland for thier encouragement and for volunteering their time to be
resource persons for workshop on Population PKPD, and NONMEM , in April 2008
- Diane Mould, President of Projections Research, USA for offering to
be a resource person for the workshop
- ICON for financing part of the budget for the workshop
