professionals in pharmacometrics (PMx) to provide an overview of *what PMx
is* and demonstrate *how PMx contributes to model-informed drug development
and therapy individualisation* (see programme
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CT4LtgoThgiLzYFRyGtF7rT5TW_Qaktd/view?usp=drive_link
).
The symposium includes an introduction to PMx, talks covering preclinical
and clinical applications of PMx in drug development, sessions on treatment
optimisation and personalisation, student case studies, and a short group
work session. With speakers from academia, industry, consultancy and
regulatory authorities, and featuring invited experts such as Mats Karlsson
and Rob ter Heine, the symposium also highlights the broad range of PMx
roles and offers valuable insights for those considering their next career
step.
The symposium is *intended for* MSc/PhD students in natural sciences,
postdocs, and others interested in PMx, including clinical pharmacists,
clinicians, mathematicians, statisticians, and industry colleagues.
Students and postdocs/trainees are invited to submit abstracts to* present
their original PMx-related work* (maximum 4,500 characters including
spaces; abstracts may be the same as for PAGE). The *abstract submission
deadline is 3 May 2026*.
Participation is *free, but registration is required:* registration link
