Location: Agoura Hills, CA, South San Francisco, CA or remote Job Title: Associate Director or Director, Clinical Pharmacology Reports To: Sr Director, Clinical Pharmacology Function: Clinical Pharmacology Job Type: Full time Position Summary: Key leader of ACELYRIN’s clinical pharmacology function, including leading functional and cross-functional decision-making for clinical pharmacology-related topics, developing and executing clinical pharmacology plans, and supporting regulatory and clinical activities. Key contributor on clinical development and program teams. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute molecule- and indication-specific clinical pharmacology plans in line with overall development plans - Represent clinical pharmacology on cross-functional teams - Lead the execution of clinical pharmacology studies and pharmacometrics activities - Manage external consultants and vendors, as appropriate - Contribute to the development of clinical study concepts and protocols, clinical study reports, and relevant components of regulatory documents - Contribute to nonclinical, bioanalytical, and other translational activities - Participate in due diligence activities for business development opportunities Qualifications and Skills Required: - PhD/MD/PharmD or other, in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience - 3-7 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience in clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, or related field - Deep understanding of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics best-practices and theory Essential behaviors and ways of working: - Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally - Results and action oriented - Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment - Ability to organize teams around focused task resolution - Demonstrated strategic and problem-solving in a matrixed environment - Demonstrated functional and technical skills ACELYRIN, INC, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
