The Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR) in Leiden, the Netherlands, is
looking for an ambitious (Senior) Pharmacometrician!
Who are we?
CHDR is an independent institute specialising in innovative, early-stage
clinical drug research ( https://chdr.nl). CHDR conducts clinical research on
new and existing drugs for pharmaceutical companies, but also initiates its own
research. By combining cutting edge methods and technologies, state-of-the-art
facilities, and talented researchers, we help maximise our clients’ success. We
are located in Leiden, the Netherlands, and collaborate closely with Leiden
University and the clinical departments of the Leiden University Medical Center.
Job description
As a pharmacometrician, you will join our Statistics & Pharmacometrics team. In
this role you will be responsible for the independent coordination and
execution of multiple complex pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD)
analyses of the clinical studies conducted at CHDR. Modelling projects will
primarily be performed based on data from phase 1 studies with diverse
pharmacodynamic outcome measures. You will have the opportunity to explore new
scientific insights and innovative analysis methodologies, to collaborate on
scientific publications and to guide research interns and PhD students in the
field of pharmacometrics. Additionally, you will coordinate and execute
concentration-QTc analyses as well as interim and final non-compartmental
analyses (NCAs). You will communicate with different (internal) stakeholders,
to inform them on the progress of your research and ensure that results are
delivered within the agreed timelines.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced pharmacometrician. You have a PhD in PK-PD
modelling, disease modelling and/or simulation in the context of drug research
and development, confirmed with a track-record of peer-reviewed publications.
Extensive experience with pharmacological/statistical software tools including
R and NONMEM are required. Experience with WinNonLin is preferred.
