Pharmacometrics or QSP summer internship at Astellas US in 2021

A full-time, paid internship in Pharmacometrics or Quantitative Systems Pharmacology is available at Astellas in the summer of 2022 for approximately 12 weeks. The intern will work closely with a senior-level pharmacometrician on topics related to mechanistic modeling or pharmacometrics, depending on the interests of the intern. The project will be a hands-on learning experience involving literature review, model building, and presentation to clinical pharmacology staff. The model building tasks will involve use of R, NONMEM, and/or Matlab software. It is anticipated that the position will be remote. Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of graduate-level course work and be working on their dissertation toward a PhD in pharmacometrics, biomedical engineering, or similar quantitative field. In addition, applicants should have a working knowledge of R, NONMEM, or Matlab and good communication skills. The applicant must be currently living in and legally authorized to work in the United States.
