PostDoc positions in the PSP group at the University of Navarra, Pamplona (Spain)

Dear Colleagues, Two post-doctoral research positions are available in the Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology research group at the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain ( http://www.unav.edu/psp). Research activities will focus on developing multi-scale quantitative systems pharmacology models supporting the development program of innovative anti-viral therapeutics. Models will integrate the PKPD properties of therapeutics, and the complex interactions between the viral dynamics and host immune system. The project represents a research collaboration between the University of Navarra and Janssen Pharmaceuticals and the duration of the project will be two years. The mainstay of the work will be performed at the school of Pharmacy in Pamplona. For one of the positions, a PhD in pharmacometrics with solid background in building and evaluating mechanistic population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics models preferably using NONMEM and programming skills in R is required. For the other position we are seeking a candidate with PhD either in applied mathematics, biomedical engineering, or similar with excellent programming and computational skills, and experience in MatLab. >From the two candidates, we expect initiative, enthusiasm, willingness to work in a team, and very good English communication skills.
