Within the Medical Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Medical University of Vienna a position as “Assistant Professor Translational Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics according to § 99 (5) University Law 2002 (UG)” is announced. The Medical University of Vienna is one of Europe’s premiere institutions for biomedical and clinical research. We are looking for a highly qualified scientist in the fields of translational pharmacology and pharmacometrics with a special focus on population pharmacokinetic modelling and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models with enthusiasm for inter- and multidisciplinary research, and commitment to teaching. Your profile: • outstanding expertise in pharmacometrics and its associated fields (preferably including antimicrobial agents). • Completed scientific or medical education with PhD or equivalent degree. • International recognition in the respective research area. • Successful and continuous acquisition of peer-reviewed and industry third-party funding. • Educational and didactic qualifications including supervision of Masters and PhD students.
