Summer Graduate Internship Opening in Pharmacometrics at Genentech

Dear all, The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) group in Clinical Pharmacology department at Genentech is seeking summer interns who are driven to use Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches to understand the Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of novel drug candidates. This individual will use ML/AI tools to enhance quantitative decision making. The activities include ML/AI platform development and deployment. Candidates should have rich hands-on experience with the languages R and/or Python and familiarity with commonly used ML toolsets. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and effectively in teams. An ideal candidate is a M.S. or Ph.D. graduate student (or within two years post-graduation) in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.
