Pharmacometry Summer Internship

Job Title: Pharmacometry Summer Intern EMD Serono is recruiting for a Pharmacometry Summer Intern to be located in Billerica (Boston), MA. Pharmacometry department of EMD-Serono, part of TxM/QP, contributes to clinical development efficiency by providing core expertise in modeling and simulation for the quantification of the relationship between dose, exposure and response, and factors affecting its variability. The Pharmacometry summer intern will: - Utilize modeling and simulation analysis to support model informed drug discovery and development. - Collaborate with global pharmacometry, quantitative pharmacology, clinical and biostatistics teams. - Gain experience in advanced population PK and PKPD analyses and understanding the use of pharmacometry analysis as part of a drug development program. - Work at US R&D Headquarters of EMD Serono with stimulating work environment for approximate internship duration range of around 3-4 months. Compensation for the internship will be per company standard. Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or Masters degree program in Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics, applied Mathematics/Statistics or a related field. - Experience with NONMEM, R, SAS, Matlab, XPose, PsN, MONOLIX, SIMCYP, or similar pharmacometric modeling and simulation software is strongly preferred. - Ability to communicate technical results and details effectively with scientists and clinicians is required. - Ability to be a team player and work cross functionally is also required Interested candidates kindly email your CVs to "[email protected]".
