Intel vs AMD [Performance and Fortran]

Dear Colleagues Is anyone using any of the current AMD lines (Ryzen or Threadripper) with NM7? There were some anti-trust issues 7-8 years ago which limited performance with AMD processers when using Intel Fortran. Is this still an issue? Further, we hope to invest in a Ryzen Threadripper system shortly, can anyone comment on their experience of using NM7 with this vs a standard Core i7? Thanks Raj
