Office of Clinical Pharmacology at the FDAhas a paid full-time/part-time 1-year fellowship opportunity currentlyavailable. This fellowship is focused on evaluating the possibility of a full/partialextrapolation of efficacy in pediatric population (poly-articular juvenileidiopathic arthritis) based on the currently available data from adult andpediatric studies conducted with TNFα inhibitors in rheumatoid arthritis. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects requiring quantitative analysis. Preferred qualifications: Apostdoctoral or a senior year Ph.D. student in Pharmacometrics/ClinicalPharmacology experienced with conducting data reformatting, population PKanalysis, statistical analysis, PK/PD modeling and simulation. Qualifiedmasters degree candidate may be considered provided the candidate demonstratesstrong quantitative skills. Well-versed in using PK/PD modeling softwares likeNONMEM/Pharsight Phoenix and statistical software like R/SAS.
