Program DetailsWith RNAi technology, we have the opportunity to treat disease
and impact the lives of patients in a fundamentally new way. Alnylam Summer
Internships are designed to develop practical biotech industry knowledge and
soft skill advancement, while contributing to the company’s overall mission and
goals. As Alnylam heads towards commercialization, there are a number of
departments with meaningful internships available that balance professional
development and support organizational needs during this exciting transition.
Interns will also participate in companywide functions such as Annual Community
Service Day, Summer Outing, as well as events & development programs designed
exclusively for students. Applicants will be directed to choose from the
following internships by area of interest: Research, Finance, Commercial &
Marketing, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Legal, Corporate
Communications, Supply Chain, IT, Clinical Development & Clinical Operations.
Qualifications· You must be legally eligible to work in the U.S·
The target start date is May 29 with an expected end date of mid/late August·
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD program
(varies by area)
Summer Intern Position in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Job
Description:Through this program, intern will gain experiencein utility of
quantitative methods in supporting RNAi therapeutics fordrug development of
orphan disease indications. The students may interact withclinicians,
biometrics, research, DMPK, or clinical pharmacology scientists.Depending on
the interests of the interns following projects may be assigned·
Compartmental and PBPK modeling of RNAitherapeutics· Exposure-response
modeling· Systems pharmacology modeling of disease usingliterature and
in-house data· Statistical modeling of endpoints informing trialoperating
characteristics Requirements:Currently enrolled in a PharmD, or MS/PhD
degree program inPharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering,
AppliedMathematics/Statistics, or a related field. Eligible to work on a
full-timebasis during the internship duration. Proficiency with
quantitativesoftware e.g. Phoenix, R, and NONMEM Strong understanding of
fundamentals of PKPD and hierarchicalmodeling of continuous and non-continuous
endpoints. Exposure to Bayesianapproaches is highly desirable.Visit the
