This Internship will be an exciting opportunity for a Ph.D. candidate in the field of pharmacometrics/clinical pharmacology from a leading academic institution. The purpose of the Internship is to enable the candidates to gain hands-on experience with pharma industry pharmacometrics data, to forge links between CSL Behring (CSLB) and leading data analysis academia, and to enable CSLB’s Clinical Pharmacology and Early Development (CPED) function to progress non-critical R&D program work. The intern will be based within the CPED group at CSLB, King of Prussia, PA (USA) on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) for about 10-12 weeks duration. Prior knowledge of PK/PD modeling and simulation, and experience in developing R/Shiny applications is highly desired. Experience in R packages such as mrgsolve, pkpdsim etc., is ideal but not required. Candidates for this role are preferably in the advanced stages of a Ph.D. program involving quantitative analyses of biological systems. Prior industry experience will not be required. By the end of the Internship, the student should have gained an insight into (a) the nature of pharmacometrics data generated within industry, (b) the processes and systems involved in data analyses, (c) analytical and clinical decision making related to pharmacometrics conduct, and (d) functioning of matrix teams. With strict internal agreement by relevant functions at CSLB, there may be a possibility for the student to include some of their Internship pharmacometrics work into their Ph.D. dissertation. This Internship will not be formally associated with any academic institution (i.e., in any accreditation sense or university Agreement). *Qualifications:* Advanced degree (Honor’s or Master’s degree, PharmD, or MD) in life science/healthcare required and current enrolment into recognized Ph.D. program involving quantitative pharmacological analyses. Compensation is competitive but no travel expense or visa will be supported. Qualified students should submit their resume to Ying Zhang ([email protected]). *Ying Zhang, PhD* *Sr Pharmacometrician* *Clinical Pharmacology & Early Development* *Clinical Development* *CSL Behring* Biotherapies for Life™ 1020 First Avenue, P.O.
