The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Comprehensive Cancer Center
currently has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral research associate to
support PK/PD modeling and simulation efforts within ongoing NIH-funded
research projects. These studies involve the pre-clinical and clinical
development of novel anti-cancer therapies and novel drug combinations, as well
as characterizing the mechanisms of resistance to FDA approved agents. The
successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in pharmacology, statistics,
engineering, or related field and specific training, experiences, and a
demonstrated track record in applying modeling and simulation tools, such as
NONMEM, R and/or other related programs, toward clinical and/or preclinical
pharmacology studies.

Research emphases within the College of Pharmacy are in the areas of
pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics, drug development, molecular pharmacology,
drug delivery and nanobiotechnology. Pharmaceutics investigators collaborate
within the College of Pharmacy's other Divisions (Pharmacology, Medicinal
Chemistry & Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacy Practice), and clinical/translational
collaborations are established within The Ohio State University's Wexner
Medical Center, James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute,
Comprehensive Cancer Center, Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, and
Center for Clinical and Translational Science.
