Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative
Pharmacometrics Intern to join our Translational Medicine & Clinical
Pharmacology department located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. As a
Pharmacometrics Intern, you will provide support to the pharmacometrics group
as needed. This can include but is not limited to, writing pharmacometric
analysis plans, performing hands-on pharmacometric analyses and literature
review.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Support Trial Pharmacometricians (TPM) and Project Pharmacometricians
(PPMs) in their responsibilities, especially in performing hands-on
pharmacometric analysis
* Work on an individually assigned pharmacometrics task in close
collaboration with other summer interns in biostatistics
Requirements:
* Must be a Graduate or Professional Student in good academic standing.
* Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other
related coursework.
* Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least
3.200 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
* Major must be related to the field of internship.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
* Good written and oral communications skills strongly preferred
* Demonstrated competence in coding and running PMx related software
(e.g. NONMEM, R, SAS)
* Basic knowledge in clinical pharmacology and clinical drug development
* Ph.D. candidate with at least one year of study
* Basic knowledge of statistics (theory and application) and
probability theory
Eligibility Requirements:
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
restriction.
* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including
verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational
background
* Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
* Must be 18 years of age or older
