Job Opportunity: Director level Pharmacometricians, UK

Certara Strategic Consulting is looking for Director level Pharmacometricians in the UK! Our Director level Pharmacometricians/Consultants are responsible for providing quantitative expertise into clinical development plans, including the design, conduct and interpretation of relevant clinical pharmacology studies, including PKPD studies. Our Directors support projects for Certara's clients by working in teams with other Associates, (expert) modelers, and drug development consultants. The qualified candidate will have the ability to work on a variety of therapeutic indications and data types, and may supervise and provide oversight of Associates. Skills & Abilities * PhD, MD, PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar discipline * 7 to 10 years of industry/consulting experience (may be combined with academic research) working in R&D, pre-clinical and clinical environments * Experience in moving compounds through the clinical trials process and experience with various elements of clinical development and trial design and management and filings * Demonstrated skills and experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in a project team setting (including leadership roles), with clients as well as internal staff * Know-how and experience in a specific therapeutic area, such as oncology, cardiovascular, immunotherapy or pediatric products is of interest * Experience in addressing comments/questions from with regulatory agencies is desired * Expertise in PK/PD and clinical pharmacology with strong quantitative skills * Good knowledge of modelling software such as WinNonlin Phoenix, NONMEM, S-Plus/R * Ability to work across functions to implement company initiatives * Ability to mentor other junior PK scientists staff on clinical pharmacology science and strategy * Proficient in spoken and written English * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player Working at Certara Strategic Consulting Consulting allows for an optimal work-life balance.
