Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a talented and innovative Graduate or Ph.D. student to join our Translational Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology department as a Pharmacometrics Intern. Location: Ridgefield, CT Description This can include but is not limited to, writing pharmacometric analysis plans, performing hands-on pharmacometric analyses and literature review. * Support Trial Pharmacometricians (TPM) and Project Pharmacometricians (PPMs) in their responsibilities, especially in performing hands-on pharmacometric analysis * Work on an individually assigned pharmacometrics task in close collaboration with other summer interns in biostatistics Requirements * Demonstrated competence in coding and running PMx related software (e.g. NONMEM, R, SAS) * Basic knowledge in clinical pharmacology and clinical drug development * Basic knowledge of statistics (theory and application) and probability theory * Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.200 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
