> Job description

> The centre of excellence of Pharmacokinetics (PEX PK) at Servier has an
> opening position for a Team Leader in Clinical Population Pharmacokinetics
> (PPK) and PKPD modelling.
>
> The candidate will participate to regular meetings with the management
> committee of the PEX PK and will report directly to the Director of Clinical
> Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacometrics. The candidate will be full-time
> dedicated to clinical PPK and PKPD to support clinical development
> programmes. The candidate will have strong relationships with other team
> leaders and modellers in pharmacometrics (i.e. PBPK and early PPK&PKPD
> modelling) and stakeholders within and outside Servier (i.e. partners, CRO
> etc…).

> Challenges
>
> Servier is developing drug candidate (small and large molecules) in 5 main
> therapeutic areas (Oncology, Cardiology, Diabetes, CNS and Rheumatology) and
> modelling activities start with drug candidate selection at early stage to
> registration and post-registration including life cycle management.
> The candidate will have to propose a modelling strategy within the PEX PK in
> collaboration with other team leaders in pharmacometrics. The candidate will
> be responsible for PPK and PKPD study design, data analysis plan, modelling &
> simulation, and will be in charge to communicate outcomes and give
> recommendations. The candidate will manage a group of pharmacometricians. The
> candidate will also participate to the promotion of PPK and PKPD within the
> Servier group.

> Skills and Experience
>
> You hold a PhD in a relevant area (PKPD modeling, Biological Sciences,
> Pharmacology, Statistics, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other
> related discipline). You are fluent in English, both orally and written, and
> have good communication and presentation skills.
>
> You have experience in applied Population PK and PKPD modelling and
> simulation, and you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drug
> development. Moreover, you have good knowledge of modelling software such as
> NONMEM or MONOLIX. A first experience in managing scientists would be
> appreciated.
>
> You have an analytical mind-set and a strong desire to further develop and
> apply modelling and simulation in drug development. You appreciate working in
> teams of scientists with different backgrounds and the opportunity of
> expanding your network at an international level.
