The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical
Sciences welcomes you to Breckenridge, CO for the 3rd Annual meeting of the
American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Rocky Mountain Discussion
Group (AAPS-RMDG). We are honored to host this meeting in the Colorado
Mountains and in conjunction with the Society of Toxicology (SOT) Mountain West
meeting.
About the AAPS Rocky Mountain Discussion Group
The RMDG is a relatively new discussion group with the first AAPS-RMDG held in
2012 and hosted by the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. This was followed
by the second meeting which was hosted by the University of Montana, Skaggs
School of Pharmacy in Missoula. The purpose of the AAPS-RMDG is to provide a
local forum for networking and education in the Rocky Mountain geographical
area. A goal of this group is to hold meetings each year and rotate between
different cities in the region. The meeting would be a full day with speakers,
focused sessions, exhibits, and posters.
We have a program filled with interesting presentations, a panel discussion
session geared toward trainees, a poster session to disseminate important
research findings, and exhibits by sponsors. Morning and afternoon breaks will
open up avenues for networking with fellow RMDG members and nonmembers, as well
as with our important meeting sponsors. At the conclusion of the business
portion of the meeting, there will be a joint reception with the SOT Mountain
West group with opportunities for poster viewing and interactions. If you would
like to join the AAPS RMDG http://www.aaps.org/rocky_mtn/
We hope you enjoy your time in Breckenridge!
