New error message

Colleagues Running NONMEM 7.3 in OS X, I just encountered the following message: 0THE INPUT MATRIX IS SINGULAR. SOME OF THE DIAGONAL ELEMENTS OF THE UPPER TRIANGULAR MATRIX U OF THE LU FACTORIZATION ARE CLOSE TO ZERO. Of note, a Google search yields a hit to Bill Bachman’s reply to an email that I sent to this user group in 2010 (but no explanation) Can anyone explain the message?
