Position: Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Pharmacometrics Location: Center for Translational Medicine, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Sciences, School of Pharmacy, University of Maryland, Baltimore Job type: Full Time (2 years) Minimum Education: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related life sciences field Post-Doctoral Fellowship Job description: The Center for Translational Medicine (CTM) at School of Pharmacy, University of Maryland is committed to foster pharmaceutical innovation in medicinal product development by using quantitative disease, drug and trial models. The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in projects with application of quantitative methodology for clinical therapeutics and drug development. Apart from the projects, the fellow will have ample opportunities to develop their personal communication and presentation skills, work with a drug development team and participate in scholarly activities. Job Qualifications The postdoctoral research fellow position requires a doctoral (Ph.D. or equivalent) degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related life sciences field. Graduate level knowledge and experience in pre-clinical and/or clinical PK/PD and/or statistics is highly preferred. Familiarity using any PK/PD software and R will be an added advantage. Candidates will also be assessed for their communication skills, demonstrated passion, motivation and ability to work as part of a team.
