Dear Dr. Diderichsen,
For PsN 4.2.0 we set a higher required version of Perl based on the
required version for the Moose package. According to the information on
CPAN (see
http://search.cpan.org/dist/Moose/lib/Moose/Manual/Support.pod#PERL_VERSION_COMPATIBILITY)
Moose officially requires Perl 5.10.1 but could still work with Perl
5.8. If you really want to use Perl 5.8 you should install and run the
PsN tests suite that came bundled with the installation package. Please
read the developers_guide.pdf for more information on running the tests.
To make PsN 4.2.0 the default version you can rerun setup.pl
