We are happy to announce a week-long summer school for graduate students on "Pharmacodynamic Data Analysis - Concepts and Applications: A graduate course in quantitative pharmacology" led by Prof. Johan Gabrielsson and a team of well recognized authorities in the field of quantitative pharmacodynamic data analysis. The summer school is hosted by the Fraunhofer-Chalmers Research Centre for Industrial Mathematics (FCC) located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Take the opportunity to learn from well renowned experts of the field in a mixture of theoretical lectures and hands-on exercises with invited contributors from both industry and academia. When: August 25-29, 2014 Selected topics: Receptor Pharmacology, Pharmacodynamic models, Time-delays, Reversible vs irreversible models, Tolerance and rebound (feedback systems), Dose-response-time systems, Transduction models, Prediction of variability and uncertainty, Maxsim2 analysis, Case studies For more information see, http://www.fcc.chalmers.se/sys/open-positions/summer-school-pharmacodynamic-data-analysis Best wishes Mats Jirstrand Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre
