Check out this great introductory workshop for drug development scientists: "Introduction to the Design, Role and Utility of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics in Drug Development"! This introductory workshop provides an opportunity for drug development scientists to develop an understanding of basic pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic concepts and the role they play in efficient drug discovery and development. It is geared for scientists that are not hands-on modelers and need a basic understanding of PK/PD principles. The workshop will discuss the implications of the FDA White Paper "Innovation / Stagnation: Challenge and Opportunity on the Critical Path to New Medical Products", which proposes utilization of model-based approaches to improve drug development knowledge management and decision making. A unique feature of the course is the access to the computer package Phoenix WinNonlin to undertake hands-on exercises on real-life case studies and the availability of course tutors to help in problem solving. This workshop will be held from January 21-23, 2014 in Sunnyvale, CA. Register https://www.certara.com/training!
