*Senior Data Analyst, Pharmacometrics*
Reports to: Senior Director, Pharmacometrics
Location: Cheshire, CT

*Position Summary *
The Senior Data Analyst, Pharmacometrics position is responsible for
providing data programing and analysis support for the Clinical
Pharmacology function from early clinical studies to Phase IV studies. The
incumbent will be responsible for following the study protocols and the
analysis plans to organize the preliminary data and final data from the
database into formats needed for visualization and conducting integrated
analysis (such as Pop-PK and Exposure-Response) for presentations and/or
for inclusion in regulatory documents. The incumbent will closely
collaborate with Clinical PK/PD group and with other development-functions
(Bioanalytical, Nonclinical PK/PD, Biomarkers, Clinical Operations,
Biostatistics and Data Management and Clinical Development) to plan,
organize and execute the data organization for analysis-ready data
formatting. The incumbent will possess expertise in SAS programming and
familiarity with data structures expected for analysis in programs such as
NONMEM. The incumbent will also be skilled at plotting complex data to
identify trends important for drug development. The incumbent will support
Head and other senior staff in Pharmacometrics and Physiological PK/PD
Modeling & Simulation in the preparation population PK/PD reports and
submission documents.
*Principal Responsibilities*
- Responsible for organizing study data into formats needed for
visualizing and creating analyzable datasets
- Responsible for collaborating with other development-functions
(Bioanalytical, Nonclinical PK/PD, Biomarkers, Biostatistics & Data
management and Clinical Development) to acquire data in an analysis ready
form
- Responsible for processing results from modeling and simulation
exercise to generate reportable tables and graphs
- Support the preparation population PK/PD reports and submission
documents.
*Qualifications*
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a data analyst preferably in
Life Sciences industry
- Hands on experience in data acquisition and analysis using SAS
- Experience in interpreting and conducting standard statistical
analysis such as summarizing results, conducting f-test, t-test etc
- Familiarity with data structures expected for analysis in programs
such as NONMEM
- Excellent organization and general written and oral communication
skills
- Willingness to relocate to Cheshire, CT or Cambridge, MA.
- Experience in working with SAS
- Ability to consolidate and organize information and data coming from
different groups
- Proficient in S-plus or similar graphic tool will be a plus
