From: ISoP Announcements Date: March 20, 2013 technical Source: mail-archive.com
Dear Colleague, Join us on April 18, 2013 for an evening of thought-provoking discussion regarding the economic impact of modeling. With the headwinds facing the pharmaceutical industry, both internal and external consulting groups are being asked to quantify value delivered to justify the cost of modeling. Our guest speakers, Jerry Nedelman (Novartis), Mark Hovde (Certara), and Alejandro Solà (Novartis) will share their perspective of the evening’s topic. The first part of our meeting addresses how economic impact of modeling projects can be assessed. The second part covers how the economics of drug development were modeled to support better decisions. The event will be held at the Cock ‘N Bull restaurant in Bucks County PA. The social/cocktail hour will begin promptly at 5:30, with the topic discussion to begin at 6:30. Dinner will be served at 7:30, followed by closing remarks.
