PaSiPhIC program Announcement

The PaSiPhIC organizing committee is pleased to announce its near final program for the 2012 meeting ( http://www.pasiphic.calpoly.edu/program.html). All speakers listed are confirmed although there may be some timing adjustments and there may be a couple of speakers added. As previously announced, Peter Bonate, Global Head, Pharmacokinetics, Modeling, and Simulation at Astellas Pharma and Richard Simon, Chief, Biometric Research Branch, National Cancer Institute are our keynote speakers this year. Four brief tutorials are offered, in which registrants can participate partake in two. Tutorials include Approaches to Statistical Graphics taught by Matt Austin of Amgen, Hands-On Bayesian Analysis Using WinBugs taught by Jonathan French of the Metrum Research Group, Introduction to Statistical Design of Experiments taught by Chi-Hse Teng and Brian Smith, and A General Framework for Model-Based Drug Development Using Probability Metrics for Quantitative Decision Making taught by Ken Kowalski of A2PG. Other speakers include Mike Dodds (Amgen), Jay Andersen (Eli Lilly), Nick Tatonetti (Stanford), Lang Li (Indiana University), Carl Peck (CDDS), Michael Hale (Amgen), Kurt Zhang (University of North Dakota), Wei Yu (Genentech), Jianrong Wu (St. Jude), Paolo Vicini (Pfizer), Larry Lesko (University of Florida), and Paulina Selaru (Pfizer).
