Eight Postdoctoral research positions in Pharmacometrics at Uppsala Univeristy

Dear all, The Pharmacometrics research group at Uppsala University, Sweden, have openings for 8 Postdoctoral positions in Pharmacometrics in the following areas: . Oncology . Tuberculosis . Antibacterial resistance . QT-prolongation . Mechanistic absorption . Optimal design . Model building and evaluation methodology (2 positions) The Pharmacometrics research group in Uppsala provides a unique environment with 25 modellers on-site. The group has a wide mix of nationalities and scientific specialties, with English as the working language. In addition to individual project-related training and supervision, we have weekly group discussions, presentations and research seminars, and we hold approximately two on-site Pharmacometric training courses per year. An ideal candidate has a PhD (or expected to receive one soon) in pharmaceutical or medical sciences, engineering, biostatistics, or a related field. The candidate should have experience with pharmacokinetic and/or pharmacodynamic modeling using non-linear mixed effects software, MATLAB, and/or R. The positions are available for one year with a possibility of extending to a second year upon mutual agreement.
