Dear All, There is an opening for a postdoctoral fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Please see the following message from Dr. Chee Ng: ---------------- The Children Hospital of Philadelphia is offering a postdoctoral fellowship position in clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. This fellowship is focused on the application of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/pharmacogenetic and disease modeling and simulation to facilitate the drug development in industry and improve patient care in academic setting. Fellow has the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience including: population pharmacokinetic and mechanistic modeling of the biotechnology drugs; population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/pharmacogenetic modeling of analgesia drugs in pediatric patients from NIH-funded study; population pharmacokinetic/pharmacogenetics and compliance modeling of antiviral therapy in HIV-infected subjects from NIH-funded study; and others. The fellow is also has an option to involve in the development and evaluation of the advanced numerical and computation methods for population data analysis. An ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD) in pharmaceutical science, biology, engineering, pharmacy or other related field and have experience or familiarity with mathematical modeling, such as NONMEM, MATLAB, R, or any other applicable software.
