NM data assembly

Hello everyone, I am trying to prepare data set for NM analysis. The dosing schedule is complicated, so I wonder if any one could suggest me any book or NM user guidance that has step by step instruction for data assembly. I saw some hot discussion in the archive about which software to use for data assembly. Since I am using R, I would like to hear some pros and cons on using R to prepare the data set. Thanks, Norman
