Apply for the Senior Research Investigator position at PK/PD modeling group
Hi Lori,
I am currently a Ph.D candidate at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and will be graduating next May. I am very interested in the Senior Research Investigator position in the clinical PK/PD modeling group at BMS and would like to apply it at this time. :)
Besides doing research in model based drug discovery and development at UNC, I had two years of pharmaceutical industry training at GSK, in both clinical and preclinical groups. Therefore, I had the chance to experience the whole workflow of pharmaceutical R&D process, and found myself most interested in doing clinical pharmacology modeling & simulation research. I felt it very fascinating to use softwares, such as WinNonlin, NONMEN and WinBUGS, to perform population PK/PD modeling and help dose selection and covariant identification.
I believe my current knowledge and experience on PK/PD modeling as well as the understanding of the big picture of pharmaceutical R&D will contribute to your group. Also, I can learn a lot from those talented expertise from Merck in future.
My CV is in the attachment. Thank you very much for your consideration!

Please let me know if you need more information.
All my best,
Melody Luo
