FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Pharmacy, King’s College London together with Model Answers
Pty Ltd are offering a short-course entitled:
INTRODUCTION TO DATA ANALYSIS USING A POPULATION APPROACH WITH NONMEM
The course will be held on the 8th, 9th and 10th December 2010 at King’s
College London (Waterloo Campus). The course is intended for researchers in
industry, academia and clinical practice who wish to gain an understanding or
increase their knowledge of population modelling theory and its application to
pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) data analysis using NONMEM.
The course is oriented for beginners who have limited or no previous experience
in data analysis using a population approach. While the course uses
pharmacokinetic examples to train students, attendees will be able to apply
skills learnt to pharmacodynamic problems. The course consists of a series of
lectures and workshops and aims to integrate the learning of participants by
focusing on the practical aspect of data handling and analysis using
computer-based tutorials. In order to individualise teaching the numbers for
the course have been restricted so that early registration is recommended.
