Dear all, I wonder how to deal with different infusion schedules. In my dataset the 24 hour infusions were given in two different regimens: One was to infuse 10% of the dose for 5 minutes followed by an 23:55 h infusion of the rest of the dose. The other was to infuse the 10% in the beginning for one hour followed by an 23 h infusion of the remaining 90% of the dose. 4 hour infusions were given in only one infusion. I set up the data file as follows: The dose time is at 10 to put the pre-dose PD-measurement in front. ID TIME RATE AMT DOSE DUR MDV PD-MDV DV PD-DV 1 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 . [value] 1 10 [AMT/DUR] [0.1*DOSE] [value] 0.083 1 1 . . 1 10.083 [AMT/DUR] [0.9*DOSE] [value] 23.92 1 1 . . 1 14 0 0 [value] 0 0 0 [value] . ... For the model I use an ADVAN3 subroutine with TRANS4. Alternatively I tried to put this in a $PRED routine but with two record for each rate and two records for each duration, which lead to different results. Did I manage the data right and how can I see my Amount in the compartment if I don't use differential equations? ----------------------------- Hauke Rühs Apotheker Pharmazeutisches Institut - Klinische Pharmazie - An der Immenburg 4 53121 Bonn Tel: + 49-(0)228 73-5781 Fax: + 49-(0)228 73-9757 http://www.klinische-pharmazie.info/ www.klinische-pharmazie.info
