Project Pharmacometrician / Pharmacometrician At Boehringer Ingelheim we are committed to support our innovative drug development by application of new technologies such as model based drug development, biomarkers and pharmacogenetics. The pharmacometrics team, which is involved in the development from compound selection through regulatory submission and subsequent life cycle management, is looking for pharmacometricians to join our organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Development and implementation of a modelling and simulation strategy for new compounds in close cooperation with the project teams. * Performance of high quality pharmacometric analyses: o (Pop)PK and (Pop)PK/PD analyses (including pharmacogenetic data) o Development and application of (semi-)mechanistic models o Development and application of disease models o Trial simulations o PBPK/PD modelling o further techniques as required * Evaluation and implementation of new data analysis tools to facilitate in-silico drug development Key Qualifications: * Ideally Ph.D. in a relevant area (e.g. Pharmacometrics, Biostatistics, Systems Biology) and modelling and simulation experience * Good knowledge of modelling and simulation software programs such as NONMEM, S-Plus/R, SAS, Trial Simulator, PK-Sim etc. Personally you are open to new challenges, self-motivated, and enjoy target- and strategy oriented work. You have the ability to work independently as well as a dedicated teamplayer. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
