From: Ron Keizer Date: March 05, 2009 technical Source: mail-archive.com
Dear all, I would like to announce the release of Pirana version 2.0.0. Pirana is an open source modeling environment for Windows that makes modeling with NONMEM, PsN and/or WFN more convenient. Pirana can be used for NM modeling on local computers and/or on clusters. The current release is a very significant upgrade over the previous release. Check out features, screenshots, and download at the website: pirana.sf.net. Best regards, Ron Most important changes in the new version: - improved GUI: More notebook-like, add notes and highlighting, built-in code editor. - Access linux-based (Mosix) clusters through OpenSSH. Use nmfe and PsN-toolkit on these clusters. - Use the PsN-toolkit (or WFN bootstrap) on PCluster - Overview of active runs in (sub)folders, show intermediate results and gradients. - Removed reliance on PsN for creation of summary of run result. - Installer (now works `out of the box') - Bug-fixes
