Batul, With the addition of an EVID variable, both methods should work. If you can assume that the system is at steady-state, it may be more efficient to use the SS data item rather than individual doses to bring the system up to the point of the first sample. Cheers. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Batul Parta Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2008 10:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [NMusers] Use of ADDL and II Dear All, I am modeling a repeated dosing study. Subjects were given twice daily doses for 8 weeks and a number of samples were taken on the last day of dosing. There were also sparse samples taken at weeks 2, 4, and 6. I want to use ADDL and II for the dosing scheme. Can I lump all doses into one line or do I have to stop the dosing record prior to each sample and re-start again? In other words, will the following file structure work: ID TIME AMT ADDL II DV 1 0 10 112 12 0 1 143 0 0 0 124 1 287 0 0 0 131 . . . Or do I have to use the following: ID TIME AMT ADDL II DV 1 0 10 14 12 0 1 143 0 0 0 124 1 144 10 14 12 0 1 287 0 0 0 131 . . . Thank you in advance. BP
