Clinical PK scientist - Modeller - Job opportunity
The Pharmaceutical Branch of Pierre Fabre Laboratories is looking for a
full time Clinical PK scientist / Modeller for its oncology division based
in SW France (Toulouse). The facility will be located at the heart of the
Toulouse Canceropole by the end of 2009

Key responsabilities :
- Implement PK and PK/PD components to study protocols and
regulatory documents,
- Analyse PK and PD data from oncology clinical trials using
classical non-compartmental as well as modelling approaches,
- Plan, prepare, perform and report population PK and PK/PD studies
to support drug development and for submission files,
- Implement advanced pharmacometric principles to the assigned
studies,
- Present study results and be the key contact for PK related issues
in cross-functional project team meetings.
Requirements:
- Pharm. D., M.D. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacology,
Biostatistics or a related discipline with in-depth knowledge of PK and
PK/PD principles (experience in oncology is an asset)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant postgraduate experience, preferably
within the industry.
- Hands-on experience with PK/PD data analysis and proficient with
modelling and simulation software packages (NONMEM, Monolix, S-Plus or
SAS).
- Strong mathematical mindset and good computing skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English is
required and French is an asset).
