Regards, Keng Prapoch (Keng) Watanalumlerd, PhD Sr. Pharmacokineticist Clinical Pharmacology PPD Pharmacokineticist Position Location: Richmond, VA EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Qualified candidates will have a PhD or PharmD in Pharmacokinetics or Biopharmaceutics with an emphasis on clinical pharmacokinetics - 0-3 years experience in the Pharmaceutical or CRO Industry - Clinical PK experience during PhD or PharmD research is required with 0 years post-graduate industry/CRO experience - 0-3 years experience with pharmacokinetic, medical, pharmaceutical and research concepts - Demonstrated evidence of written communication skills, problem solving capabilities and organizational skills. This may be evidenced using publications (first author, research reports and recommendations) or equivalent combination of educations, training and experience that proved the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities - Experience or academic experience in pharmacokinetic analyses and modeling - Any experience working in clinical pharmacokinetic research in a CRO or a pharmaceutical company would be desirable - The individual filling the position described is required to be flexible and extremely adaptive as part of the responsibilities - The position requires one to identify priorities and shift resources to complete initial projects needing immediate attention - The individual must also be able to work effectively on several projects simultaneously KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Experience with population-based pharmacokinetic methods (Preferred) - Ability to apply PK theory using SAS programming Senior Pharmacokineticist Position Location: Richmond, VA EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - PhD or PharmD with an emphasis on clinical pharmacokinetics - Three+ years in the Pharmaceutical, CRO industry or other relevant experience - Experience in management of pharmacokinetic programs with a proven record of accomplishments - Experience with medical, pharmaceutical, metabolism and clinical research concepts or equivalent combination of educations, training and experience that proved the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledgeable of FDA pharmacokinetic/bioavailability/bioequivalence criteria - Strong theoretical background in pharmacokinetics with experience in PK/PD - Able to apply PK theory using SAS programming, WinNonlin, MATLAB, NONMEM or other pharmacokinetic packages - Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required PPD is an Equal Opportunity Employer ______________________________________________________________________ This email transmission and any documents, files or previous email messages attached to it may contain information that is confidential or legally privileged.
