Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can comment on these compilatoin "warning" messages I'm getting on Linux (NONMEM V 1.0, SuSE Linux 6.1, kernel 2.2.7, g77 version egc-2.91.66 19990314 ecgs-1.1.2 release).
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: multiple common of `procm1_'
/tmp/ccIbkAOC.o: warning: previous common is here
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: multiple common of `rocm12_'
/tmp/ccIbkAOC.o: warning: previous common is here
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: multiple common of `nmprd7_'
/tmp/ccIbkAOC.o: warning: previous common is here
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: multiple common of `prrand_'
/tmp/ccIbkAOC.o: warning: previous common is here
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PREDI.o: warning: multiple common of `prcomu_'
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: previous common is here
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PREDI.o: warning: multiple common of `prdde1_'
/opt/nonmem/nmv/pr/PRED.o: warning: previous common is here
etc.
These arise when compiling the nonmem executable (using the already-compiled libraries and the user-specific .f file). I am using the -ff90 compilation option that I think I picked as a recommendation on this list.
I originally set all this up using g77 on HP/UX 10.20, and did not run into anything like this.
Thanks for any comment,
