Can anyone give a reason to prefer this over DV versus PRED (or IPRED)? It seems to me that the latter is to be preferred (if one wants to make a distinction). The reason is the possibility to add a regression line/smooth in the DV versus PRED plot. For DV versus PRED such a line should be reasonably close to the line of identity, whereas for the PRED versus DV plot such a line has no meaning. Of course there are situations, e.g. with extensive censoring, where also for the DV versus PRED plot a regression line cannot be expected to be close to the line of identity. Best regards, Mats
