In reply to Lewis' first comment (see below) the first dosing data I presented (see below) does in fact produce input into compartment 3; in a fit of "nonmem rage" I had commented out an essential piece of code (ie my mistake). In reply to the second comment, the first input data (see below) does in fact comply with SS=1 as defined in the "help" document. The dose into CMT 1 is not "prior" to the steady-state dose but is given at the same time (0 in this case). Furthermore, the reason I did not think of using SS=2 is the fact that I had (and still have) difficulty understanding the "help" text as it is written for this statement. Is this just me, or is this text a tad confusing? Kind regards Mick Looby
