Shigeki Nishihara asked about NONMEM under WindowsNT4.0,using the DIGITAL Visual Fortran 5.0.
We now have both operating systems installed at the NONMEM Project Group and I've tested NONMEM installation under both. The DIGITAL compiler can be used with both Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. There is no difference in NONMEM installation and use.
Simply follow the recommendations in the memo
INSTALLATION NOTES FOR NONMEM VERSION IV UNDER DOS OR MICROSOFT WINDOWS USING MICROSOFT FORTRAN POWERSTATION OR DIGITAL VISUAL FORTRAN 5.0
Use the command fl32 when compiling the SEP program.
E.g., fl32 sep.for
Use the command "df" when compiling all other programs (NONMEM, PREDPP, NMTRAN, and FSUBS).
We recommend for NONMEM and PREDPP and FSUBS:
df /c /fpe:0 /optimize:1 *.for
We recommend for NMTRAN:
df *.for
(A note of explanation: With fl32, DIGITAL's "PowerStation I/O compatibility mode" is used, which is best for SEP. With df, DIGITAL's "native DIGITAL Fortran I/O" is used. This is best for the other programs.)
If anyone has any trouble with DIGITAL Visual Fortran 5.0 under Windows NT, please let me know.
