From jong@belmt20.belmont.com Fri Jan 10 08:58:32 1997 Subject: CrossGraphs data visualization and graphical reporting software Folks, There was a recent posting to this mailing list about the CrossGraphs data visualization and graphical reporting software, and its possible usefulness as a graphics "backend" to NONMEM. CrossGraphs automatically divides data in a dataset into subsets, so that each subset contains the same values of one or more discrete variables, or the same range of values for one or more continuous variables. CrossGraphs then displays the data as arrays of graphs, one graph per subset, on one or many pages. CrossGraphs supports common graph types, as well as a number of novel graph types designed specifically to support the analysis of pharmaceutical research data. CrossGraphs is a new product, just released in the spring of 1996 by Belmont Research, but is the result of 5 years of development, funded in large part by the National Institutes of Health, in collaboration with the Harvard School of Public Health, pharmaceutical companies, and research hospitals. As a visualization and graphical reporting system, it is complementary to software which generates, simulates, or analyzes data. For example, it was selected as the graphics system for the Pharsight(tm) Trial Designer software, for simulating and analyzing clinical trials data based on pharmacokinetic and other prior information, to support the design of more effective trials.
